test imageEating 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Your 5 a day can come from fresh, frozen, canned or dried fruit and vegetables and also from 100% fruit juice.

There are lots of easy ways to achieve your 5 a day, adding vegetables to your favourite meal, having a piece of fruit instead of that mid afternoon chocolate bar or even adding some dried fruit to your breakfast cereal.

In order to help children on their way to achieving their 5 a day, all school dinners contain at least 2 portions of fruit and vegetables.
