Taking action on waste is essential, since we are consuming natural resources at an unsustainable rate and contributing unnecessarily to climate change.
Each year, the UK generates around 100 million tonnes of waste from households, commerce and industry combined. Most of this currently ends up in landfill.
Panda Drinks is continually looking at ways to improve production to reduce waste. This has included moving to larger cases and rationalising trays and bottle caps to reduce waste and excess packaging. Reduced weight bottles are routinely trialled to help us find packaging that will reduce our carbon footprint when transporting products. Panda Drinks monitors and work with suppliers to ensure that the effect from waste, packaging and transport are minimised.
Panda bottles can be recycled by most local authorities. So, next time you finish one of our delicious drinks put it in your recycle bin or take it to your local recycling facility to help do your bit for the environment.
